What is a digipak?
A digipak is a piece of material that a company uses for promotional purposes like a new album.

The purpose of a digipak?
The purpose of the digipak is to promote an artists new album and allow the audience to gain an understanding of what the album is about and what type of artist they are listening to.

What other elements does a digipak contain

Lighting and colour:
The whole digipak is very bright and stands out very well to the viewer of the advert as it uses very bright colours.

Main image:
The main image shows a manikin representing the artist clearly to the audience to ensure she gets what type of artists she is across to the audience and show them that she is very different so they can by into her lifestyle.

Layout:
The layout is very simple with a front cover image a insert with the songs and lyrics and simple colours on the inside.

Typography:
The font is very simple and black bold on a bright background to make sure it stands out to who looks at it.

Information:
The digipak has all the necessary information including the songs with lyrics, album name, track list, music institution and production company.
 
Artist representation:
The artist uses a manikin to represent her showing her audience how different she is as a artist and she is very alterative.

The whole digipak is very bright and stands out very well to the viewer of the advert as it uses very bright colours.

Main image:
The main Image is showing the artist clearly to the audience to show a lot of star image which gives the artist a lot of publicity and exposure to the audience. This then relates to Dyers theory of enhancing 'Star image' again as the advert has the star front and centre to give her a lot of publicity to the audience. This is conventional to the genre because as their is a lot of star image shown to give the star more exposure. This builds a greater understanding between the star and the audience as they learn more about the star and who they are. 
Layout:
The layout is very simple with a front cover image a insert with the songs and lyrics and simple colours on the inside the CD has a simple design showing roses on the CD with the track list on the back.

Typography:
The font is very simple and black bold on a white background to make sure it stands out to who looks at it and when on the bright colour background white font is used to make sure it stands out as well.

Information:
The digipak has all the necessary information including the songs with lyrics, album name, track list, music institution and production company.
 
Artist representation:
The artist uses a very glamorous image to show the audience what kind of artist she is so they can buy into her lifestyle of being a very glamorous person and creates a relationship between her and the audience
